EILEEN MIRANDA JIMENEZ
Let's Get Someone Watching Out for Us

UPDATE AUGUST 14, 2013

WHAT DOES "ATTENDED" MEAN

"... attended Wellesley...."  As any good politician she makes statements to give you a false impression.  Eileen did "attend" Wellesley, for a period of time, never graduated.  Eileen spent a lot of time during the last campaign telling voters "I attended Wellesley," then stating how other candidates did not have college degrees.  Just a little hypocritical.

"PROVEN TRACK RECORD"

"... proven track record managing programs focused
on education reform ..."  An internet search reveals no classroom or experience related to teaching, mentoring, or guiding at-risk youth.

Documents showing campaign donations by Jimenez in 2009 (Prior to election) reflected Jimenez saying she did not work.  There is nothing about work experience.  The only work experience for Jimenez was booking rooms and arranging for drinks, food, and snacks at seminars.  Not exactly a "proven track record."

VOTED FOR LIFETIME BENEFITS, NOT AGAINST

Jimenez claims she"voted AGAINST giving $200,000+ of lifetime benefits to a superintendent that later violated her contract and sued
the
district."  Just a little problem with the statement.  Jimenez not only voted to give the former superintendent those benefits in Feburary 2013 to settle the lawsuit, but paid legal fees on top of the settlement.

This is how it works.  Vote for an item and vote against an item.  This will allow you "honestly" tell those in favor or against an issue you supported them on the issue.  Whose going to check?

UPDATE AUGUST 21, 2013

TAXPAYER PAID VACATIONS AND WANTS MORE

Each year the school board grants themselves $3,000 to $4,000 a year to attend seminars, conferences and training. Most board members attend the California State School Board Association or National School Board Association annual meeting or conference.

Jimenez spends her allocation, then asks other board members for their unspent funds to attend additional seminars.  Why do other board members stay within budget, but not Jimenez?  She outspends the other board members for a simple reason, she goes to the conference early and stays longer.  She "goes sight seeing" at your expense.  The taxpayers pay for the hotel, cars, and meals for those extra days.

Jimenez finds other conferences and meetings to attend. Normally those sponsored by special interest groups. This is a new twist. Jimenez pays special interest groups with your money to attend these additional meetings and seminars.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 5, 2013

STATEWIDE RECOGNIZITION?

Eileen claims to be a recognized statewide leader in education reform.  Now, what does that mean?  She has no education experience and no direct employment in education.  Jimenez appears to think if you say it, then it must be true.  Buying coffee and pastries for seminars does not make you an expert no matter how many people you tell.  Expertise is recognized by degrees (none), publication in research journals (none), testimony before a court of law (none), testimony before a government agency (none), and actual work in the field (none).

It appears her real expertise is in creative writing which would put her on the top of the best selling list for fiction.

UPDATE OCTOBER 21, 2013

Is the Los Angeles County District Attorney investigating Jimenez for perjury?

Eileen Miranda Jimenez, under oath, appears to have given false testimony.  When asked about communication with a third party associated with the school district she stated she only communicated via email on 5 or 6 occasions.  When asked about the subject of those communications she stated her children.

When the attorney questioning Jimenez handed her 50 plus emails about confidential personnel issues and subjects unrelated to her children, Jimenez immediately claimed illness and refused to continue to testify.

Remember when your children do not tell you the truth and you get upset, they can simply use Jimenez as the example they follow and they are not under oath.
